Im Lauf der Jahrhunderte wurde den unterschiedlichen Regionen nicht nur jegliche politische Entscheidungsgewalt genommen, auch die kulturelle Eigenst\u00e4ndigkeit wurde systematisch bek\u00e4mpft.
